ACOG Seal
The ACOG seal is an official trademark of the College. It cannot be used by individuals or organizations except under formal agreement with the College. ACOG Districts and Sections are part of the College and thus may use the seal in their activities.

ACOG Fellows Logo
ACOG has developed a special Fellows Logo (http://www.acog.org/member_access/misc/fellowLogo) that can be used only by active Fellows, can be displayed on stationery, brochures, practice forms, business cards, personalized labels, plaques, office buildings, office furniture, and gifts for patients.

The Fellow's name must accompany the logo. The logo cannot be used to represent an entire group practice but is to be used only by active Fellows of ACOG.

Foreign Language Translations
Permission to translate documents into a foreign language is extended through a written agreement.

Photocopying
Permission is not necessary to make up to 5 photocopies of an ACOG document for one's personal use.

Requests for authorization to photocopy larger quantities should be directed to the Copyright Clearance Center, which is authorized to grant rights to distribute ACOG material in exchange for a fee for noncommercial purposes. Permission requests to photocopy ACOG materials should be directed to:

Copyright Release

All authors, illustrators, and editors who contribute to ACOG publications should sign a copyright release, which entitles the College to copyright their work. This is not necessary if the individual is working under contract.

Joint Publication

Publications may be produced jointly under an agreement that conveys copyright to ACOG and extends a licence to the collaborating organization(s) for the unrestricted use of the document. This agreement entitles ACOG to retain sole copyright of the document and to use the name and logo of other organizations. Copyright to ACOG series publications is not held jointly with other organizations.
